نقلت صحيفة “تايمز أوف إسرائيل”، عن مصدر لم تسمه الخميس، قوله إن إسرائيل مُستعدة لإعادة النظر في الهجوم المزمع على مدينة رفح الفلسطينية مقابل”عرض حقيقي” بشأن الإفراج عن المحتجزين في قطاع غزة واتفاق هدنة مع حركة “حماس”.
لكن المصدر الذي وصفته الصحيفة بالمسؤول، أشار في الوقت ذاته، إلى أن إسرائيل لن “تساوم” على مسألة إنهاء الحرب في القطاع.
وذكرت الصحيفة أن تصريحات المصدر المسؤول جاءت وسط تقارير إعلامية بشأن إسقاط إسرائيل المطلب السابق المتمثل في إطلاق سراح 40 محتجزاً على الأقل ضمن أي اتفاق.
