أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية، السبت، عن تفكيك خلية إرهابية تابعة لتنظيم داعش في محافظة ريف دمشق، بعد عملية أمنية وصفتها بـ”النوعية”، أسفرت عن القبض على أحد أفراد الخلية والقضاء على اثنين آخرين.
وجاء في بيان للوزارة أن جهاز الاستخبارات العامة بالتعاون مع قيادة الأمن الداخلي في ريف دمشق نفذا العملية “عقب متابعة ميدانية دقيقة ورصد متواصل لتحركات خلية إرهابية كانت تنشط في إحدى المناطق الشمالية من المحافظة”.
وأشار البيان إلى أن العملية انتهت بتحييد عنصرين من أفراد الخلية، حاول أحدهما تفجير حزام ناسف كان يرتديه أثناء الاشتباك مع القوة الأمنية، فيما تم إلقاء القبض على عنصر ثالث.
وأضافت الوزارة أنه تم العثور في مكان العملية على أسلحة فردية وذخائر متنوعة وحزام ناسف معد للتفجير، مؤكدة أن “العملية تندرج ضمن النهج الاستباقي الذي تتبعه الأجهزة الأمنية في مكافحة الإرهاب وتجفيف منابعه”.
وتشهد سوريا منذ أشهر عمليات أمنية متصاعدة ضد فلول تنظيم داعش، الذي أعاد تنشيط خلاياه في بعض المناطق الريفية وسط البلاد وجنوبها.
وتأتي هذه العملية في ظل جهود الحكومة السورية الجديدة لترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار بعد الإطاحة في 8 ديسمبر/كانون الأول 2024 بنظام بشار الأسد، الذي حكم البلاد نحو 24 عاماً.
