دعا الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، السبت، الفلسطينيين إلى “الوحدة” في مواجهة إسرائيل، وذلك في ختام لقائه رئيس المكتب السياسي لـ”حماس” إسماعيل هنية، وعدد من قيادات الحركة في إسطنبول.
وقالت الرئاسة التركية في بيان، إن اللقاء الذي تم في قصر دولمة بهتشة الرئاسي بإسطنبول، بحث “الهجمات الإسرائيلية على الأراضي الفلسطينية، وفي مقدمتها غزة”.
وأكد أردوغان خلال اللقاء، أن “تركيا ستواصل مساعيها الدبلوماسية للفت أنظار المجتمع الدولي إلى الظلم الذي يتعرض له الفلسطينيون”، لافتاً إلى أن “إسرائيل ستدفع حتماً يوماً ما ثمن الظلم الذي تمارسه على الفلسطينيين”.
وشدد الرئيس التركي على “الأهمية البالغة لوحدة الصف الفلسطيني في التحرك خلال هذه المرحلة”، معتبراً أن “الرد الأقوى على إسرائيل والطريق إلى النصر يتطلبان الوحدة والنزاهة”.
