أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الوطني، في بيان لها اليوم الأربعاء، أن مفارز من الجيش الوطني الشعبي تمكنت من القضاء على إرهابي بمنطقة الجبل الأبيض بالقطاع العسكري تبسة، التابعة للناحية العسكرية الخامسة، وذلك في إطار عملية نوعية متواصلة في المنطقة.
وأوضح البيان أن العملية أسفرت عن استرجاع مسدس رشاش من نوع كلاشينكوف وأغراض أخرى، مضيفًا أن هذا التدخل الميداني يأتي في سياق العملية النوعية التي تم تنفيذها بتاريخ 23 سبتمبر 2025 بمنطقة ثليجان في نفس القطاع، والتي مكنت آنذاك من القضاء على ستة إرهابيين واسترجاع ستة مسدسات رشاشة من نوع كلاشينكوف وكميات معتبرة من الذخيرة.
وبذلك، ترتفع الحصيلة الإجمالية لهذه العملية الأمنية إلى القضاء على سبعة إرهابيين واسترجاع سبعة أسلحة رشاشة من نوع كلاشينكوف.
وأكدت وزارة الدفاع الوطني أن هذه النتائج الميدانية تؤكد مرة أخرى فعالية المقاربة التي تنتهجها القيادة العليا للجيش الوطني الشعبي في مكافحة الإرهاب وتجفيف منابعه، وكذا حرصها الدائم على تكريس الأمن والطمأنينة عبر كامل التراب الوطني.
