أضاع منتخب أوغندا فوزًا كان في المتناول بعدما أهدر مهاجمه آلان أوكيلو ركلة جزاء في الوقت بدل الضائع، ليكتفي بالتعادل 1-1 أمام منتخب تنزانيا، السبت، على ملعب ولي العهد الأمير مولاي الحسن في العاصمة المغربية الرباط، ضمن الجولة الثانية من منافسات المجموعة الثالثة لنهائيات كأس الأمم الإفريقية لكرة القدم المقامة في المغرب.
وكان المنتخب التنزاني السبّاق إلى التسجيل، عندما افتتح المهاجم سايمون مسوفا، لاعب نادي الطلبة العراقي، النتيجة من ركلة جزاء في الدقيقة 59، واضعًا منتخب بلاده على مشارف تحقيق أول فوز له في تاريخ مشاركاته في النهائيات القارية.
لكن المنتخب الأوغندي نجح في العودة إلى أجواء المباراة عبر البديل أوتشي إيكبيزو، مهاجم سانت جونستون الاسكتلندي، الذي سجل هدف التعادل في الدقيقة 80.
وفي اللحظات الأخيرة من اللقاء، حصلت أوغندا على ركلة جزاء ثمينة في الدقيقة الأولى من الوقت بدل الضائع، إلا أن آلان أوكيلو سدد الكرة فوق العارضة، مهدِرًا فرصة خطف النقاط الثلاث (90+1).
وبهذا التعادل، حصد المنتخبان أول نقطة لهما في البطولة، بعدما كانت أوغندا قد خسرت في الجولة الأولى أمام تونس بنتيجة 1-3، فيما سقطت تنزانيا أمام نيجيريا 1-2. المحرر ش ع
