سارع وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي إيتمار بن غفير بالرد على عضو مجلس الحرب الوزير بيني غانتس متهما إياه بالتآمر لتفكيك الحكومة، وذلك بعد أن هدد الأخير بالاستقالة من منصبه بحلول الثامن من يونيو/حزيران المقبل.
وقال بن غفير إن غانتس “قائد صغير ومخادع كبير، وكان منذ اللحظة الأولى لانضمامه للحكومة يركز بشكل أساسي على تفكيكها”.
وأضاف وزير الأمن القومي -الذي يتزعم حزب “القوة اليهودية” اليميني المتطرف- أن رحلات غانتس إلى واشنطن “لم تكن سوى جزء صغير من مؤامراته”.
من جهته، طالب وزير المالية الإسرائيلي بتسلئيل سموتريتش رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو باتخاذ قرار إستراتيجي بالسيطرة الإسرائيلية الكاملة على غزة. وقال سموتريتش “سننتصر بوجود غانتس أو بدونه، بفضل مقاتلينا وشعبنا”.
بدوره، قال وزير الاتصالات الإسرائيلي شلومو كرعي إن “غانتس يهدد بالاستقالة بحلول الثامن من يونيو إذا لم نذعن لمطالبه، وأقترح عليه الاستقالة غدا”. وأضاف أن غانتس يريد جلب السلطة الفلسطينية للسيطرة على غزة.
ورأى كرعي أن حكومة الحرب “أصبحت يسارية منذ فترة طويلة ووسيلة لإضعاف رئيس الوزراء وحكومة اليمين”، على حد قوله.تشغيل الفيديو
جاء ذلك بعدما أعلن غانتس في مؤتمر صحفي مساء اليوم السبت أنه سيمهل نتنياهو حتى الثامن من يونيو/حزيران المقبل لتحديد إستراتيجية واضحة للحرب وما بعدها، وإلا فإنه سينسحب من حكومة الطوارئ.
وخاطبه قائلا “إذا واصلت السير في طريق المتطرفين سنضطر لترك الحكومة والعمل على الإصلاح”، مشيرا إلى أن هناك أقلية صغيرة سيطرت على قيادة إسرائيل وتقودها إلى المجهول، وفق تعبيره.
وتشكلت حكومة طوارئ في إسرائيل عقب عملية طوفان الأقصى التي شنتها المقاومة في السابع من أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023 ردا على اعتداءات الاحتلال على الشعب الفلسطيني ومقدساته.
وفي ذلك الإطار تشكل مجلس الحرب الذي ضم في عضويته أيضا كلا من بيني غانتس وغادي آيزنكوت من تحالف “معسكر الدولة”.
