يشارك وزير الفلاحة والتنمية الريفية، يوسف شرفة، ممثلا للجزائر، في مناقشة مفتوحة رفيعة المستوى لمجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة حول التغيرات المناخية وانعدام الأمن الغذائي، ستجرى اليوم الثلاثاء بنيويورك (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية)، حسبما أفاد به بيان للوزارة.
وجاء في البيان: “ممثلا للجزائر، يشارك السيد يوسف شرفة، وزير الفلاحة والتنمية الريفية، اليوم الثلاثاء 13 فيفري 2024 بنيويورك، في المناقشة المفتوحة رفيعة المستوى لمجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة حول +تأثير التغيرات المناخية وانعدام الأمن الغذائي على حفظ الأمن والسلم الدوليين+”.
وستشكل هذه المناقشة، يضيف ذات المصدر، “فرصة لأعضاء المجلس والدول الأعضاء الأخرى في الأمم المتحدة لدراسة آثار تغير المناخ وانعدام الأمن الغذائي على صون السلام والأمن الدوليين”.
كما سيسعى المشاركون إلى “الخروج بتوصيات ملموسة وتنسيق أفضل للاستجابات والمقاربات الاستباقية وتعزيز الجهود الدولية من أجل مكافحة انعدام الأمن الغذائي والعمل على تقليص آثار تغير المناخ”، حسب البيان.
