وقالت مصادر مطلعة لـ”الشرق” إن المقترح المصري الجديد الذي جرت صياغته بالتوافق مع إسرائيل، في الزيارة الأخيرة التي قام بها وفد مصري إلى تل أبيب، الجمعة، يحمل بعض التقدم، خاصة في مجال عودة النازحين إلى الشمال وابتعاد قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مسافة كافية عن الطريق التي سيسلكها العائدون.
وكانت الورقة التفاوضية السابقة حددت المسافة، التي يبتعد فيها الجيش الإسرائيلي عن شارع الرشيد الذي سيسلكه العائدون، في المرحلة الأولى، بمسافة 500 متر، فيما طالبت حماس ابتعاد الجيش حتى شارع صلاح الدين الذي يبعد عن شارع الرشيد مسافة 3.7 كيلومتر.
