طالب مارتن أوديغارد قائد أرسنال الإنجليزي زملاءه في الفريق بالتحكم في مشاعرهم خلال المباراة الختامية للموسم أمام إيفرتون، يوم الأحد.
يدخل أرسنال الجولة الأخيرة وفي رصيده 86 نقطة يحتل بها المركز الثاني بفارق نقطتين عن المتصدر مانشستر سيتي. ويأمل الفريق الغائب عنه لقب البريميرلييغ منذ 20 عاماً أن يتعثّر سيتي في مباراته أمام وست هام حتى تتاح له فرصة التتويج.
قال أوديغارد: “تحدثنا عن ذلك الأمر. لا يجب أن نكون عاطفيين. نحن مطالبون بالتركيز فقط على أنفسنا”. وأضاف: “الأمر واضح بالنسبة لنا. سنخوض آخر مباراة في الموسم. ونريد الفوز بها وإسعاد الجماهير. لا يجب أن نفكر في شيء آخر. الأمر خارج عن إرادتنا”.
وتابع صانع الألعاب النرويجي: “الفريق تطور كثيراً عن الموسم الماضي. ما زلنا متواجدون في السباق على اللقب حتى اليوم الأخير”.
وتنطلق مباراة أرسنال وإيفرتون في تمام الرابعة مساءً بتوقيت الجزائر.
