وعقب الحدث، بدأت مجموعات للمستوطنين بالتحريض على جنين ومخيمها، لشن الحرب عليها بعبارات منها: “جنين طلبت الحرب وإسرائيل ستلبي الطلب بقوة، جنين غزة الجديدة”.
