تم عرض الفيلم الروائي الطويل “196 متر/ الجزائر” للمخرج شكيب طالب بن دياب في الجزائر، والذي تم اختياره لتمثيل الجزائر في مسابقة الأوسكار الـ97 عن فئة أفضل فيلم روائي دولي. يتناول الفيلم قضية اختطاف الأطفال من خلال قصة اختطاف فتاة صغيرة تُدعى “منال”، والتي يتم تحريرها بعد تحقيق بوليسي يقوده مفتش شرطة “سامي” وطبيبة نفسية “دنيا”.
الفيلم من إنتاج وزارة الثقافة والفنون، ويتميز بتشويق وإثارة مع طاقم تمثيل يضم مريم مجقان، علي ناموس، هشام مصباح، ونبيل عسلي. حصل الفيلم على الجائزة الكبرى في مهرجان فليكرز رود أيلند السينمائي الدولي بأمريكا.
المخرج شكيب بن دياب هو من مواليد 1982، وله عدة أفلام قصيرة ووثائقية، وشارك في مهرجانات دولية.
